The Porsche 928 or SHARK as its mostly referred to has got to be, in my opinion, as one of the most beautiful cars in automotive history.
I originally bought the porsche for parts for my 82. I then proceeded to change a few parts here and there from the 85 to the 82. Well , luck had it in for my little land shark, BAD luck that is. On x-mas night while testing out some new engine mods I was cut off the freeway and into an embankment. (At 140mph) The only good thing about the accident was that my fiancée and I came out unhurt. The car on the other hand didn't. I stopped estimating damage when I hit the 30,000 dollar range. I had to sit back and wonder if it was even worth it. It didn't take long to know the answer to that. I have been driving wreckers for 15 years and never have I seen a car take a hit at that speed and people walk away. Maybe it was pure luck, maybe it was other things, who knows. But as long as I can help it, I will never give up my "shark". so let the pain begin.
About the Sharkyear: 85 make: Porsche model: 928s auto original color: Black Interior: maroon |
My name is Jerry. I live in Houston, TX. I'm 31 years old and a single father of two beautiful girls. I bought my first shark (the 82) one year ago for about two thousand. It needed lots of TLC but I didn't mind. I'm a mechanic by trade but I drive wreckers now and go to school for my computer degree. After buying the 82 I fell in love with them. Now I cant seem to get away......................I guess that's the Porsche curse
